As temperatures begin to drop across Pembroke and the Greater Concord area, there’s one question every homeowner should ask: Is my heating oil tank ready for winter? Fall is the ideal time to schedule a heating oil delivery, ensuring your home stays warm and comfortable when you need it most.

For 85 years, Johnny Prescott Oil & Propane has been helping local families prepare for the cold months ahead. We understand the importance of reliable heating oil service, and we’re here to make sure you never run out when it matters.

Why Fill Your Tank in the Fall?

Waiting until winter arrives to think about heating oil can leave you scrambling. Here’s why fall is the smart season to top off your tank:

• Avoid the winter rush: Once cold weather hits, demand for heating oil spikes. Getting ahead of the season means you’ll receive timely deliveries without competing for service slots during peak times.
• Protect against price fluctuations: Heating oil prices can vary throughout the year. By filling up in the fall, you lock in your fuel supply before potential winter price increases.
• Prevent costly run-outs: Running out of heating oil isn’t just inconvenient—it can damage your heating system and leave your family without heat during the coldest days. Fall deliveries help you stay ahead of your fuel needs.
• Peace of mind: Knowing your tank is full before winter begins means one less thing to worry about, especially heading into the busy holiday season. You can focus on enjoying this time of year instead of monitoring your fuel levels.

How Automatic Delivery Works

Worried about remembering to schedule deliveries? Our automatic heating oil delivery service takes the guesswork out of fuel management. Here’s what makes it hassle-free:

• Smart tracking: We track your fuel usage patterns based on your home’s heating needs and local weather conditions. Using degree-day projecting—a method that calculates heating demand based on outdoor temperatures—we can accurately predict when you’ll need your next delivery.
• Priority service: Automatic delivery customers receive priority scheduling, which means you’re first in line during busy periods. You’ll never have to worry about delays or missed deliveries.
• Emergency support: If the unexpected happens, we’re here to help. Our team is available to assist automatic delivery customers with emergency service when they need it most.
• No monitoring required: You don’t have to check your tank gauge or remember to call for a refill. We handle the timing so you can enjoy consistent comfort all season long.
